Other Ways to Help:

Donate Food

Virtually all of the food WUMCO distrubutes comes from individual donations.

Help us avoid dipping into funds needed for our many other emergency help programs by donating such staples as canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned tuna, peanut butter, jelly, soups and beans – the kinds of things we provide to needy clients.

There are a number of collection points for donated food:

  • WUMCO pantry
    9:00 AM-Noon, M-F, 17821 Elgin Rd., Poolesville
  • Collection box at Drs. Pike & Valega
    24/7, 19601 Fisher Ave., Poolesville
  • Poolesville Town Hall
    7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, M-F, 19721 Beall St., Poolesville
  • Many area churches
